Meet Michelle Carlson
Michelle is a board certified athletic trainer, personal trainer, injury prevention specialist, ergonomic assessment specialist, and yoga teacher. Michelle’s goal is to meet her clients where they are at and help promote sustainable habit changes, not quick fixes. Michelle loves seeing her clients trust their bodies and move confidently throughout their daily lives and hobbies.
Michelle thrives in movement and learning how our bodies move and how we can support them for sustainable pain free activities. Michelle's approach is to emphasize stability, strength, and joint health.
Michelle holds a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College in Massachusetts and got her personal training certification through NASM. Michelle has also worked as an Injury Prevention Specialist for Fortune 500 companies to help companies reduce their injury rates and implement site wide injury prevention and ergonomic programs. Michelle is also a reiki practitioner, IIN holistic health coach, and mindfulness educator.
Michelle has lived in NY, MA, a RV, ID and now CO. When Michelle was 22 she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease that was a major source of inspiration to take her healing into her own hands and live a life that felt more aligned with her body. In her free time you can find Michelle hiking mountains with her husband and border collie, training for trail half marathons, reading, sitting around a campfire, or looking for the best chai lattes in Colorado.
